In February of 2014, after months of designing and planning, Sightline Commercial Solutions completed installation on one of its largest staging orders to date: The Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana (formerly named “Pepsi Coliseum”). The project included more than 500 custom platforms, numerous ADA accessible viewing platforms, and a massive removable seven-tier vomitory infill for fixed seating. The Coliseum presented many new and exciting challenges for Sightline Commercial Solutions due to of the venue’s tight tolerances and additional ongoing renovations, which were completed just weeks before the installation date. Sightline Commercial Solutions’ product was designed to fit between a newly constructed dasher board system for the ice rink setup and concrete stadia that had existing fixed seating. The goal was to incorporate products that would allow the Coliseum to be quickly and easily transformed into a hockey arena, rodeo arena, concert venue or a stadium for other events. With the help of Sightline Commercial Solutions’ design team, in-house fabrication, and installation experience, the Farmers Coliseum project was not only fabricated in less than six weeks, but was also installed ahead of schedule.
