Home to the Mississippi State University (MSU) Bulldogs, Dudy Noble Field boasts the current NCAA on-campus attendance record at 16,423 fans. To add seating flexibility and elevate the game-day experience for the university’s diehard fan base, MSU partnered with Sightline Commercial Solutions to pilot our innovative Flex Suite VIP seating system at the ballpark. Flex Suite is Sightline’s turnkey modular VIP seating system, delivered fully assembled so it can be quickly set into place. Each unit integrates platforms, rails, seating and tables into a single structure and can be configured as Lounge, Loge or Suite setups. Designed to be either permanent or portable, Flex Suites offer customizable finishes, branded elements and premium comfort features, giving venues a fast, flexible way to elevate their premium fan experience. At MSU, Sightline installed six Flex Suite sections featuring a gray epoxied floor surface, fork guides, cable rail and drink rail systems, branded closure panels and infills, and SpecSeat folding chairs. The installation was completed just in time for a rivalry series against Ole Miss, a fast-track effort that required the design, fabrication and shipment of the Flex Suite system in less than six weeks. Sightline leveraged its tube and sheet laser capabilities to meet the tight timeline and precision requirements of the installation. The collaboration also demonstrated the company’s commitment to partnership, as MSU’s early access to the Flex Suite system at Dudy Noble Field allowed Sightline to observe real-world use and proactively refine the system. By staying closely connected with MSU throughout the season, the team identified opportunities to further elevate performance and fan comfort, benefiting both MSU and future installations. Based on the overwhelming response from fans, MSU extended the concept to Humphrey Coliseum, home to its men’s and women’s basketball teams. Sightline added six matching Flex Suite sections, along with filler platforms and concourse drink rails, to create a premium courtside experience. The drink rail at “The Hump” features acrylic backsplashes and custom Di-Noc infill panels designed to complement existing finishes. This project exemplifies what the Flex Suite does best: providing versatile, modular solutions that transition seamlessly between venues. What began as an outdoor installation for baseball was reimagined indoors for basketball, demonstrating the versatility of the Flex Suite design and its ability to deliver premium comfort and fan engagement across sports environments.
