The “precisely perfect” AC Hotel by Marriott Portsmouth merges a modern, urban vibe with its seaside heritage. Located just steps from Portsmouth’s bustling waterfront, market square and historic downtown area, the five-story hotel is a perfect place to call home while visiting one of New England’s most charming port cities. The upscale hotel features a ground level lounge with a two-sided fireplace, European style kitchen that is open to the public and 156 guest rooms and suites that include high-end designs, stylish furniture and hand-picked art. Additionally, guests can experience an “elevated” dining experience at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, which includes outdoor seating for 96 guests and stunning, panoramic views of the Piscataqua River and bridges courtesy of Sightline Commercial Solutions’ award-winning Ascent® Glass Windscreen. The custom-engineered system allowed for a 54” guardrail that met windload requirements while optimizing sightlines and enhancing the building’s sleek, sophisticated design.
